How the guide works
Distance charging applies above 21 km/h; time charging applies below 21 km/h. The estimator uses the route’s approximate average speed, so the taxi meter may vary as traffic conditions change.
The Silver Service option adds $11 per journey. The high-occupancy Maxi Taxi fee is $17.36. When toll roads are selected, the guide uses $6.73 for city–airport journeys and $12.69 for south-east–airport journeys. Any EastLink charge or route variation is confirmed with the final quote. Airport rank fees, other road charges and the CPV levy may apply. Electronic payment charges must not exceed 5%, and a cleaning fee of up to $120 may apply when required. Holiday peak rates apply on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Day and from 6pm on New Year’s Eve.
